Semana 22- Los Pelagros Milagros
To be honest I'm much to lazy to write much this week. There have been lots of miracles. We unfortunately have to drop quite a few of our friends but we did find a ton of new people this week. Our friend Melba made us cupcakes and then when we helped her clean up her yard she bought us pizza. We have been teaching a lot of kids this week and have been bribing them if they say prayers and are reverent with cookies. We also have a cute one who gets so excited each time we show up but unfortunately her grandmother didn't drive her to church. But we have hope y fe. We had exchanges so on Thursday sister Heaton joined me here in Alice. Our friend Margie is super lista for her baptism and on Saturday it's all going to happen! She also talked about how she has been wanting to go to the temple for the past 5 years and she feels like sacrament will mean more to her after her baptism!! We made homemade zucchini bread for zone conference and now they all expect us to pull up with food. If anybody has easy recipe deserty ideas, please do send them. Lots of little milagros!!
Pensamiento Espiritual: Jesus the Christ by Talmage about the atonement:
"Christ’s agony in the garden is unfathomable by the finite mind, both as to intensity and cause... He struggled and groaned under a burden such as no other being who has lived on earth might even conceive as possible. It was not physical pain, nor mental anguish alone, that caused Him to suffer such torture as to produce an extrusion of blood from every pore; but a spiritual agony of soul such as only God was capable of experiencing. No other man, however great his powers of physical or mental endurance, could have suffered so."
