Semana 25- Mercedes Featuring Tech Squad

Honestly I'm too lazy to write but it's been really bittersweet. My district is officially gone because 3 went home and I left to my new area. As... a tech missionary. Which is honestly a bit weird because I was not expecting that at all but I even have a new area right next to Weslaco called Mercedes. Also I share a ward with 6 elders so there are 8 of us in the one ward and then afterwards there are 8 elders in the spanish ward... so it's kinda loco. Also, I was put in the English group which means know I have to pass off all the spanish people to some elders.

I miss Alice so much and my friends and the members and my companion Martinez but I am starting to love this new area. I know it is because if I had never left I wouldn't have been able to grow at all so it is for a reason. Pero, Alice will forever have a piece of my heart. Now I'm on the tech squad with a district of 6 missionaries and only 4 of us are the techies so there has been loottttss of pictures, videos, facebooking, posting on our missionary pages, and then getting out in my new area. But we do have free range of Excel which I love and we get to watch Chosen!! Besides that, I survived the Roberto Hurricane. It honestly wasn't bad at all. The only thing that happened was getting drenched in lottts of rain. Also, here in mercedes the ward feeds missionaries everyday of the week. All 8 of us. Which is insane. I am so excited to help people in a different part of my mission 2 and a half hours from where I was in a much smaller area. I actually touch the mexican border now and I am so excited about how to better help the people here in whatever way to bring them closer to christ.

Pensamiento espiritual: We Must Raise our Sights by Elder Henry B Eyring
"That mighty change is reported time after time... The way it is wrought and what the person becomes are always the same. The words of God in pure doctrine go down deep into the heart by the power of the Holy Ghost. The person pleads with God in faith. The repentant heart is broken and the spirit contrite. Sacred covenants have been made. Then God keeps His covenant to grant a new heart and a new life, in His time."
