12- Bautismo?

This week has been really good but it's wild to think that I hace been here for a full transfer. And the strangest thing is that my trainer is going to leave for the valley which means I'm about to be step-trained and get a new companion!! Pero, it's been fantastic! Alice and the near cities (and I means this as in villages) has been super cool. I have gotten to really love the area with my friends and the members. I will let you know what changes happen though and who my new comp is!

I got to finally try some conchas and some different empanadas. If you are going for dessert, the best one is actually pumpkin. I know, un poco rado but you can't insult it unless you try it. The one cool thing about member meals is that every time our entire district is fed because it is just the 4 of us and the elders don't have a car. Saturday was definitely a wild ride. We have had a super progressing guy and he has been on date for baptism. All of it has been super cool and you can tell he has a great testimony of the Gospel. He even called us 2 hours before the baptism just to go things over. People pull up to the baptism and then time starts passing by. And then more, and more. Phone calls and texts are made. I'm playing piano for this whole crowd because it is awkward and there is supposed to be some music. We all finally called it quits 45 minutes of waiting. But in the bright side one of the members took us all out to Chick-fil-A. But still, we were ghosted. We did stop by Sunday night and he had a legit excuse with the cops and family drama and everything but still. ¿No text?

Sunday was awesome. One of our new friends pulled up and a surprise family with 3 young kids. It was super cool and this Sunday was a pot luck. So of course we feasted for lunch on some delicious Mexican foods and desserts. For p-day we met together with the zone one last time and had a spike ball tournament, tennis-baseball, and played gaga ball. This week we have dropped a couple of friends but luckily we found a bunch new people and some really cool lessons. I also got to finish the BoM again! I would encourage each of you to start picking it up and reading it. I know how it has been blessing my life.

This coming week is Easter which is one of my favorite times of year. President Nelson asked us earlier to take Easter as big a Holiday as Christmas and to focus it on the Savior. I know he lives and I know that as each day we focus on what He has done for us we can receive more joy and more peace in our lives.

Scripture: 3 Nephi 11:14 "Arise and come forth unto me, that ye may thrust your hands into my side, and also that ye may feel the prints of the nails in my hands and in my feet, that ye may know that I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world."
